Nicole Aiyen Halpin ’84

Nicole Aiyen Halpin ’84, September 5, 2011, in Seattle, after a two-year battle with brain cancer. Nicole was born and raised in Seattle and studied at 果酱视频 for one year. During her time on campus, she cowrote and starred in the film American Taboo. She later earned a bachelor’s degree in film from UCLA and taught film studies at Columbia College in Chicago. In 2005, she returned to Seattle, where she met her partner, Justin Harris. Nicole described herself as “a poet from the (Pacific) Northwest, who joyously misspent her youth in Hollywood.” Justin, her mother and brother, and three sisters survive her.
