¹û½´ÊÓƵ President Audrey Bilger Elected to National Association of Independent Colleges and Universities Board
¹û½´ÊÓƵ President Audrey Bilger has been elected to a three-year term on the National Association of Independent Colleges and Universities (NAICU) Board. She took office on July 1 and will serve through June 2026.
“Independent colleges and universities, such as ¹û½´ÊÓƵ, are committed to providing a breadth and depth of learning that enables our students to flourish and to adapt to the rapidly changing world around us,” Bilger said. “It is my honor to represent the great work of these nonprofit institutions of higher education and to showcase their positive impacts in our society.”
Bilger will represent Region VIII, which encompasses Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming.
“NAICU is so fortunate to have Dr. Audrey Bilger serving in our leadership,” said NAICU President Barbara K. Mistick, D.M. “She currently serves on one of NAICU’s leadership committees and is not only steeped in the federal policy issues facing Oregon and the northwest region, but she is also intimately familiar with the challenges our students and institutions are facing nationally. We look forward to her continuing leadership and adding her voice and perspective to our advocacy efforts on behalf of the private, nonprofit higher education sector as a member of our Board of Directors.”
