Description: Larceny
Location: Library

Notes: Dispatch received an emailed report from a member of the 果酱视频 staff that their front bike brakes had been stolen. They stated that they had been unaware of the theft until the lack of brakes nearly resulted in a dangerous accident while the staff member was riding their bike.

Description: Suspicious Person/Activity/Circumstances
Location: Renn Fayre Storage Room

Notes: A CSO on campus patrol encountered an unsecured door, and upon closer inspection the CSO learned it also had a malfunctioning lock. The CSO inspected the adjoining room, and encountered an unsecured case containing a large sum of money. Based on the information available to them, the CSO determined that the money was from Renn Fayre. The CSO took the case to 28 West for safekeeping until guardianship of the case and funds could be determined.

Description: Larceny
Location: West Lot

Notes: A CSO responded to a report of a vehicle break-in in the West lot. The  CSO met with the reporting vehicle owner, a 果酱视频 student, who relayed that the driver-side window of their vehicle had been shattered. The student also reported that a blue bag had been removed from the vehicle. The CSO sympathized with the student and also recommended that the student file an online police report for the stolen item.

Description: Medical Transport
Location: Administrative building

Notes: A CSO on patrol was approached by an alumnus who alerted the CSO to an unresponsive student in a bathroom. After speaking with and assessing the unwell student, the CSO determined that the student was experiencing an alcohol overdose, and medical treatment was required. American Medical Response was called and transported the student to a nearby medical facility for further care.

 

CS Survey Responses:

Every week Community Safety requests survey responses from those who've had interactions with a member of the Community Safety team. These responses are always collected anonymously with the option for the responder to leave contact information if they would like for a member of Community Safety management to contact them, and are used internally for departmental performance tracking. Community Safety has opted to publish these survey results for transparency and community accountability. *Names and pronouns mentioned in survey responses will be redacted to protect the privacy of individuals.

In addition to surveys sent directly to those who have interacted with Community Safety, the 果酱视频 community is always encouraged to independently complete the survey regarding Community Safety's performance.
