Description: Theft - Bike
Location: Scholz
Notes: A student arrived at 28 West to report the theft of their bike. The bike had last been seen secured inside the Scholze bike storage room. When the student returned to retrieve the bike, it and the lock were missing. The bike is a black Trek Verve 2. The CSO sympathized with the student’s loss and let them know the report would be available should the student need it.

Description: Medical Assist - Drugs / Cannabis Use or Possession
Location: Residence hall
Notes: CSOs were dispatched to a residence hall where a student was possibly in need of medical assistance due to cannabis ingestion. The student was awake and alert when the CSOs arrived. After referencing the yellow card, “Signs of Alcohol or Other Drug Overdose Emergencies,” the CSOs determined that the student was not demonstrating any emergent or urgent symptoms. When asked, the student declined further medical evaluation by paramedics. The CSOs cleared from the call, leaving the student with a friend for the evening.

Description: Damage to Property
Location: Upper North Lot
Notes: A CSO responded to a report of catalytic converter theft. The CSO met a student in the North Lot near the student’s vehicle. The student reported that they believed their catalytic converter was missing. The CSO moved to visibly confirm the theft and observed that the catalytic converter was still intact, but the exhaust pipe had been cut in an attempt to remove the part. The CSO recommended the student have a catalytic converter theft deterrent part installed when they took the vehicle in for the exhaust pipe repair. The student was grateful for the help and the CSO cleared from the call.
